3 QUICK AND HEALTHY BREAKFASTS
Breakfast can be a real headache for those of us who are in a hurry. Not really wide awake, not really motivated, and only 30 minutes to get ready… the struggle is real. Eating a bowl of industrial cereals won’t require a lot of efforts, but will be really bad for your health (do your research, and you’ll see for yourself). You might be fine with that, but if you’re looking for healthier and simple alternatives, this post was made for you !
1. CRUNCHY YOGHURT
✓ 2 minutes
For this first quick and healthy breakfasts recipe, I’d like to start with this delicious crunchy yoghurt. You will need : grec yoghurt, granola, raisins and fresh fruits (here, strawberries and a kiwi).
Wash, peel and cut your fruits. Pour two to three big tbsp of yoghurt in a bowl. Add granola and raisins. Finish with pieces of fruits and enjoy !
2. THE HONEY AND BANANA PORRIDGE
✓ 3 minutes
This second recipe is perfect for dark and cold mornings, since it’s a warm breakfast ! You will need : milk (you can use vegetal milk like almond milk), oat flakes, a banana, oleaginous (hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds, Brazil nuts…) and honey.
In a small saucepan, heat a little bit of milk for 30 seconds, and pour about 4 tbsp of oat flakes. Cook for 1 additional minute while stiring, until you obtain a porridge consistency. Pour in a small bowl and add banana slices, a handful of nuts and a tsp of honey.
3. SOFT-BOILED EGGS
✓ 4 minutes
This is my favourite breakfast, that I eat almost every morning. This is perfect if you workout a lot, because it’s full of proteins. You will need two eggs, two slices of wholemeal bread and a pinch of salt.
Bring a pot of water to boil, and once it’s ready, carefully add your eggs in it with the help of a big spoon. Let them cook for precisely 3 minutes. Meanwhile, toast your bread and cut it into sticks.
Once the 3 minutes have passed, quickly put the eggs under cold water, put them in an eggcup, add a pinch of salt and eat with the help of your wholemeal bread !
