MY NEW BEAUTY ROUTINE
Who says new beauty finds and a new season says new skincare habits, and more particularly new face products. I have incorporated new essentials in my everyday life, and the result is quite good ! I am therefore sharing with you my new beauty routine in 3 steps, and the products I use in the morning and at night.
1ST STEP : CLEANSING
In the morning, I wash my face with the Toleriane foaming gel by La Roche-Posay : a really soft cleanser, formulated for a sensitive skin. I also use a face brush from The Body Shop to deeply cleanse my skin, get rid of the dead cells and activate the blood flow on my face. Perfect way to start the day ! I think I am soon going to invest in a Clarisonic brush, because I have been really surprised by the benefits of this type of cleansing on my skin. Do you use it, or do you have any recommendations ?
At night, I start with the Effaclar micellar water by La Roche-Posay if I’m wearing a lot of makeup, which is quite rare. I bought this product to treat a few blemishes this summer, but I find it too aggressive for me if I use it everyday. Most of the time, I simply use the foaming gel, without the face brush this time.
2ND STEP : TREATING
In the morning, after I washed my face, I apply the Eye Contour Gel by Clarins. My eyes look immediately fresher, and my dark circles are diminishing after a few weeks. I then localy apply tea tree oil from The Body Shop on my imperfections, if I have some. Really efficient !
At night, I also apply the tea tree oil if necessary, but I don’t use the eye contour.
3RD STEP : MOISTURISING
I have recently discovered this product : an organice aloe vera gel, without alcohol, and with a really good composition. I use it morning and night to moisturise my skin. Even if this product leaves an unpleasant sensation on my face, it is one of the best alternatives for an efficient and natural hydratation. I also use this aloe vera gel on my hair, but this will be the topic of an other post…
As usual, my beauty routine is simple yet efficient (you can read everything about my previous routine here). I don’t want to be bothered with a lot of cosmetics, and I don’t like when it’s taking too long either. I also think that a daily routine with too much products can quickly become bad for the skin, which is overwhelmed by a lot of different chemicals…
