SUMMER SMOOTHIE WITH FRESH BASIL

Recently, I’ve been looking for new ideas for a really refreshing smoothie to drink during hot weather. I decided to create my own recipe with seasonal fruits and a little bit of fresh basil.
The result is surprising but delicious, and this is totally what I was looking for.

To make this smoothie, you will need (for two big glasses) :

  • 1 banana
  • 2 nectarines
  • 1 peach
  • 1 glass of almond milk (or cow milk, soja milk… depending on what you prefer)
  • some basil leaves
  • crushed ice (optional)

Smoothie3

  1. Wash your fruits and cut them into pieces. Be careful not to forget a stone, it could damage your blender.
  2. If you want to, crush some ice cubes to make ice.
  3. In your blender, pour the almond milk, the ice, the pieces of fruits and the basil leaves.
  4. Blend (well) and serve !
